Latest pickups: I found these two scarves on the same day at two different thrift stores. The Brooks Brothers scarf is 100% cashmere and made in the USA. The other one is a vintage Bill Blass 100% lambswool and made in England. The third scarf is one that i already had. Both are in great condition.

My haul from yesterday. 4 pairs of Allen Edmonds dress shoes in excellent condition. They are not my size, so I am ebaying them. 1 pair of Park Avenues, 1 pair of Chester wingtips, 2 pairs of Walton split toes. I paid $35.00 for all four pairs. Score.

Brooks Brothers short sleeved madras shirt made in India. New old stock. Found brand new with tags on. $7.99. It fits like a glove. This is now my favorite warm weather shirt! The material is top notch, and the pattern is like no other madras shirt I’ve ever seen.

I have wanted a pair of these forever. Every summer I say that I’m going to order a pair but I never get around to it. These are a pair of Nantucket Reds by Murray’s Toggery shop. They are world famous and are most well known for how they are guaranteed to bleed and fade—similar to a good genuine madras shirt. These have been written about a million times. I just can’t believe I found this pair for $4.99 brand new with tags still on! They haven’t even been faded yet!! This will come in handy next summer.
